Gingerbread Frosting with Berry Powders

Nature has given us wonderful colours to use in our food. Let's make the most of it! Using berry powder as a colouring agent in your gingerbread house frosting is a great way to add nutritious berries to your Christmas diet!

Preparation time: about 20 min  

1. Place egg white in a clean bowl and beat with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.

2. Gradually add icing sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.

3. Divide icing into separate bowls.

4. Add different coloured berry powders to each bowl and stir until combined.

5. Spoon the icing into a small freezer bag using a separate bag for each colour.

6. Snip the end of one corner from the freezer bag and pipe the icing onto cooled gingerbread biscuits.
